Lucero Creative is a culture-driven, bilingual creative firm with over 20 years of experience in photography, branding, and marketing. Founded by Lucero Valle, the studio adapts and expands as each project demands—sometimes it’s an intimate portrait session, other times it’s a full-scale production with makeup artists, assistants, and video crews.
For more than a decade in Austin, we’ve worked alongside businesses, nonprofits, and leaders who trust us to capture their vision with authenticity and cultural insight. Lucero Valle Ortiz is a Mexican-born, Austin-based creative who has spent over two decades turning photography into a powerful storytelling tool. With a background in industrial design, marketing, and the arts, she brings a sharp eye for detail and a genuine love for people into every project.
Her work moves easily between boardrooms and art shows—capturing headshots for corporate leaders one day and curating cultural portraits the next. What connects it all is her commitment to creating visuals that feel authentic, inclusive, and built to last.
Beyond the camera, Lucero is deeply connected to her community. She mentors young creatives, collaborates with nonprofits, and leads projects that celebrate diversity and representation. And while her studio is where the magic happens, her biggest inspiration often comes from everyday life—whether it’s chasing after her son, sharing food with friends, or dreaming up her next project to bring people together.

How We Work
1. Discovery & Collaboration

Lights, camera, action! On shoot day, we take care of the details so you can focus on being present. Whether it’s portraits, branding visuals, or event coverage, we capture authentic expressions and polished imagery that resonate with your audience.
4. Delivery & Launch
After the shoot, we edit and polish your images (or video) with care. You’ll receive a curated gallery of final assets—ready to use for your website, press, social media, or marketing campaigns. We also guide you on how to make the most of your visuals so your story continues to shine.
